SIMPLY STUNNING AND RELAXING AND MY #1 GAME OF THIS YEAR!

If you’re looking for a fun, addicting, casual game to play, Float is perfect for you. The game is very easy to pick up and it’s simple enough for children to play, but challenging enough where adults will also enjoy it and not think that it’s too easy. The nature of the game makes it highly addicting as with each play, you want to get a higher and higher score. The addition of OpenFeint also means that I want to unlock all the achievements in the game as well. There are multiple ways to get high scores in the game. Obviously tapping on a balloon in the bonus area yields a higher score per tap but I’ve also noticed that if you tap on same colored balloons, you’ll also get a multiplier bonus as well. This ends of course when you tap a different color balloon. There also seems to be a massive score bonus for popping balloons, but this requires multiple taps on each balloon before they pop which may or may not work to your advantage. (This only works in Time mode as Normal mode counts this as a life you lose.) There might be other ways of getting higher scores but I haven’t figured them all out yet.
Tapping in the game is fairly accurate. You top the bottom of the balloon to hit it up into the air and you tap the top of the balloon to push it down. It’s very responsive which is good because in the later levels, you will need to juggle so many balloons that you can’t afford having your taps not register.
I look forward to many updates for this game as there are so many great things that can be done with this app. I would really love to see more backgrounds added, more achievements, new balloons, new levels and so much more all clean fun. This is my pick for game of the year so far and I know you will love it :)
